The use of steel for Structures and Products has gained popularity because of the shortest time it takes to execute the task (speedy construction) and we at EMFLO have taken step ahead of others in understanding the design and fabrication of these using Steel Structural Elements.
Carbon Steel and Mild Steel are the most popular because of low cost material and cheaper fabrication cost. The latter (mild steel) is of low carbon content hence higher Ductility, Malleability and more especially easy to weld compared to the former (carbon steel).
The most common structural elements for use in Buildings, Bridges, Crane Frame are hot rolled I- Section (Universal Beams); H-Sections (Universal columns); C-Sections; Angles (Equal and Unequal); Square, Rectangular and Circular Hollow Sections (Tubes).
Connection of Steel Structural members are either by bolting or welding depending on the connection design. Bolting is preferred for its flexibility and adjustability while welding is commonly used for permanent joining because of Durability, Strength and Rigidity.
For Structures/Products where precision and fineness is required Cold Formed Sections are used and these may include: Furniture, Machine Guards, Door frames and Windows frames etcetera.
At Emflo Development Service limited we have carried out fabrication of various structures including but not limited to: Steel Frame building, Steel Frame Bridges, Container Structures, Gantry Crane Frame, Staircases, Car Roll Cages, Machine Guards, Car Bumper Guards, Steel Furniture (Beds, Chairs, Storage Shelves, Cabinets, Tables etc. Gates, Doors, Windows, Tanks and Electrical & Solar Panels Stands, and Animal Cages.
We have been able to fabricate a number of Stainless Steel products which include: Storage Shelves for Chemicals, Laboratory Stores, Factory Conveyors Cross-overs Stairs and Staircases in moist production areas; Domestic/Raw Water Lines; Production Treated Water Lines etc.
